Welcome to
The Vegan Feast!
No one has ever said, “I am going vegan because I hate the taste of ice cream…pizza…cheese.” They simply don’t like how these foods get on their plate.

Choosing a vegan lifestyle that aligns with your values, should not mean giving up your favorite foods. The Vegan Feast’s mission is to bring you all the traditional foods you love, just made entirely plant based!
From the comforting dishes of our childhood to the age-old recipes passed down through generations, prepare to embark on a delicious journey that will bring joy to your taste buds and warm memories to your heart. Experience the magic of these incredible foods that not only nourish our bodies but also unite us with the traditions, cultures, and cherished moments that make life truly special!
How it all began…

Hi! I’m Olga, a vegan food photographer & chef. I’ve been working in the food industry for over twenty years, but it didn’t start out that way.
I graduated college with a Masters degree in Elementary Education, and taught third grade for several years until I realized that molding young minds wasn’t my true passion.
That’s when I decided to follow my culinary dreams and enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America in NYC. I became a wedding and custom cake designer, and eventually opened my own bakery – The Cosmic Cookie Jar – in Sonoma County, CA.

I now run the Vegan Feast Blog, where our goal is to make plant-based cooking easy, fun and accessible to everyone. In addition to the blog, I teach plant-based cooking classes, and I am a regular contributor to websites such as One Green Planet, Best of Vegan and Vkind. My work has also been chosen to be featured in a number of magazines such as Global Vegan, Taste of Home, Vegan Times, and Vegan Food & Living.

Going Vegan
I had been vegetarian for over a decade, thinking that no animal was being harmed for me. But we didn’t go vegan until we moved to North Carolina, where a perfect storm of events came together to open my eyes to the ugly truth about factory farms, as well as the dairy and egg industries.

The more I researched, the more I learned about how unhealthy animal products are for our health, as well as the devastation and pollution these industries cause to the environment. And most importantly, I became very aware of the unspeakable cruelty and suffering that these industries inflict on sentient beings that should be treated with respect and compassion.
We both decided to go vegan overnight, and we’ve never looked back! (Other than to wonder why we didn’t make the switch sooner.)

We hope that our photos, recipes and articles will inspire you to embrace a vegan lifestyle that’s healthier for you, and better for our planet, and especially the animals!
